School note March 21st 2013

21-3-2013

Dear parents,

Today, the children in Ms Day’s Class stage three performances of ‘Strictly Fairytale Line Dancing.’ I have seen the effort that has gone into this and cannot speak highly enough of everybody who has been involved. Experiences such as this live forever in a child’s memory and are a treasured part of their schooldays.

As we reach the end of another school term, please ensure that you inform the school of the reason for any absences. Notes were provided for this purpose at the beginning of the school year. The school has a statutory obligation to make a report to the National Education Welfare Board in the case of every child who is absent for twenty days or more in any school year. It is vital that you furnish the school with a reason for any absences.

Please note that school closes for Easter tomorrow, Friday March 22nd. at 12.30 p.m. Please collect children promptly.

Parents Association News: The next Rag and Phone day is set for Friday 12th April.  Bags will be given out to all families on Monday 8th April, which is the first day back from the Easter break.  Please could all parents bear this mind, and start collecting any unwanted clothes and shoes etc and also Mobile Phones to be ready for that week.  Many thanks in advance for your support.
