School note October 19th

Dear parents,

This is Maths Week. There is a range of activities going on at all class levels, including Maths trails, Maths Art, Target Boards, Numero, Problem of the Day etc. There are some excellent maths displays on the walls of the corridors. The Problem of the Day appears on the website www.ballybrownns.ie. All classes from First to Sixth are now registered with mangahigh.com. Children can take part online from home.

Cumann na mBunscol news: The Under 13 girls football team play Milford NS tomorrow Friday 20th in Rathbane at 1.20 p.m. in the semi final  of the City A competition.

Parent teacher meetings take place  on Wednesday and Thursday October 25th and 26th. There will not be any Homework Club on those days.

The Parents Association AGM took place last night in the school. I would like to thank the Parents Association for all their work during the past school year. They have supported many activities such as Literacy Lift Off, Maths Workshops, Christmas quizzes etc.
