Dear parents,
I wish to bring the following to your attention.

Cumann na mBunscol: Well done to our girls' football team who lost narrowly to St Nessan's NS in Mungret yesterday. The team has improved with every game. The Under 11 boys entertain St Nessan's today. The Under 13 boys have a rest week with no fixtures.
This week, representatives of three post primary schools have visited Ballybrown NS. All children have already received a list of Open Nights as well as application forms. Closing date is Monday January 15th 2018.
Please remember that an absence note is required every time your child is absent. These are kept on file until the end of the school year. The school is obliged to make returns to Tusla in respect of every child who misses 20 days or more in a school year. A number of children are frequently late for school. Please try to ensure this does not happen.
City of Limerick Pipe Band visited the school today and performed for children in Fifth and Sixth classes. Several former pupils are now members of this band. If your child is interested in joining, registration goes ahead in Garryowen Rugby Club on Saturday October 7th at 11 a.m.
MPCC Credit Union will be in school tomorrow October 6th as usual.
Thanks to all the families for their Art & Craft/Photocopying contributions. If you have not yet paid this money, you can give it to Rosemarie in the school office any day between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.. €35 per child or €60 family.
Parents Association: There is a Recycling Day tomorrow Friday October 6th. All families received bags this week. Please have your bags of unwanted clothes, handbags, paired shoes etc in bags at the school by 9.15a.m. that morning.
