I wish to bring the following to your attention.
Please ensure that you inform the school of the reason for any absences. Notes were provided for this purpose at the beginning of the school year. The school has a statutory obligation to make a report to Tusla in the case of every child who is absent for 20 days or more in any school year. It is vital that you furnish the school with a reason for any absences.
Reminder: School will be closed on Wednesday December 11th as all teachers will attend Inservice Training in the Primary Language Curriculum. Today, Ms Maura Tierney from the Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST) will speak to teachers from 3 p.m. to 4.30 on the implementation of the Language Curriculum.
