School note June 21st 2012


Dear parents,

                     I wish to bring the following to your attention.

.Sixth Class Graduation will take place on Wednesday June 27th at 2.30 p.m. School will end for all classes at 2 p.m. on that day. The 2012 school yearbook will be launched on that day.

End of year reports will be issued next week. Book lists for all classes will also issue next week. All booklists have been sent to O Mahony’s for convenience of parents who wish to order online.

School will close for summer holidays on Friday June 29th. at 12.30 p.m.

Please see overleaf for details of the Summer Reading Challenge 2012 in Dooradoyle Library. I urge parents to take every opportunity to encourage a love of reading in your children.

Next Tuesday, at 10 a.m., Limerick hurler Conor Allis will present medals to the members of the Under 13 boys football and hurling teams. This has been a great sporting year in so many different codes.

Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp will take place in Ballybrown GAA Club from Mon 2nd July to Fri 6th July. The Camp runs each day from 10.00 am to 2.30 pm and is open to all boys and girls from the ages of six to thirteen.  Ballybrown GAA Juvenile Club will hold its Annual Duck Race on Sun 1st July at O Dea’s Bar, De Bucket starting at 2.00pm. This is a fun day for all the family.
