School note Jan 22nd 2015

22-1-2015.

Dear parents,

                    Ms Mairead Kelly, from the Health Promoting Section of HSE will visit the school tonight to explain how Ballybrown NS can become a Health Promoting School. Brief meeting at 8.30 p.m. in Ms Gibbons' room. Light refreshments served. All parents /guardians welcome.

                 The deadline for return of applications for the Junior Infant class in September 2015 is 3 p.m. tomorrow Friday January 23rd.

               All children in the school received a note explaining the Primary Online Database which is being set up by the DES. If you still haven't returned the form, please do so as soon as possible.

           Next week is Catholic Schools Week. A wide range of activities will take place in classes throughout the school.

             A word of advice from the Green School Committee: In the current cold weather, the Committee advise all parents to ensure your water pipes are lagged and to check for leaks. Water is precious!

        Parking: Parents are requested to park in the Church Grounds or in the Resource Centre grounds. Please do not block exits or park in the Staff parking area.            

Ballybrown Camogie Registration will take place on Friday 6th February 8pm-9.30pm in Ballybrown Clubhouse. €30 per child , €55 per family U18, €50 per adult. New players always welcome - please bring a copy of birth cert.
Also any adults wishing to get involved as coach , mentor or on our club committee are welcome.

 DCD (Developmental Co Ordination Disorder)  Limerick . We are holding a parent support group ( how to improve handwriting ) on Saturday 28th February at 2 pm in the Millennium hall Raheen church . If you think this may benefit any of your pupils .
