School Note February 4th 2015

Dear Parents,

Yesterday was Grandparents' Day. The teachers of the Infant classes organised a ceremony to celebrate this event as part of Catholic Schools Week. Over 60 grandparents (and great-grandparents!) attended and were very proud as the children sang, read and recited Prayers of the Faithful. The children had coloured pictures of their grandparents and these were on display on the wall for all to admire. There were refreshments afterwards. It was a lovely occasion for the school community.   Thanks to Fr Cussen, Rosemarie and all the teachers involved.

Next Tuesday, February 9th. ,  is Safer Internet Day. The dangers presented by social media are known to us all. Check out www.saferinternetday.ie

Well done to all our quiz teams who took part in the MPCC Credit Union Quiz last Friday night. In the under 11 section, the team consisting of Harry Noone, Grace Noone, Emer Conroy and  Hazel Walsh was placed third.
