21 day Community Walking Challenge

21 DAY COMMUNITY WALKING CHALLENGE STARTS MONDAY SEPTEMBER 25th

In conjunction with Get Ireland Walking and the European Week of Sport, Ballybrown Community Council  are very excited to host our own 21 Day Walking Challenge.  Walking is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. The aim of the challenge is to go for a walk every day for 21 consecutive days and develop a walking habit. You can walk with us or on your own. We will provide you with a special record card to keep track of your walks and help you set up and maintain a regular walking schedule.

There will be organised walks from the Community Resource Centre at 9.15am and 7.00pm Monday to Friday

To join one of these group walks meet us at the Resource Centre. Wear comfortable walking shoes and a Hi Vis top. (We will also have some Hi Vis tops available). The route for the first week will be a 4km loop from the Community Centre to Clarina Village, Bricklodge and back by Kilkeedy. There will also be a shorter option. Walkers should find a pace and distance that suits them. All are welcome.
