School note March 22nd

22-3-2018

Dear parents,

Yesterday, 52 boys and girls received the Sacrament of Confirmation from Bishop Brendan Leahy in St. Joseph's Church here in Ballybrown. Events such as Confirmation are a team effort and  I am extremely grateful to all involved, especially the class teachers, Mr. Barry and Ms Gibbons, and all  teachers  and staff who have been helpful in every way.  Ms. Day has done superb work with the Choir. Thanks to Fr Cussen and all involved with our local parish who are so cooperative.  I am grateful once again to the school's Parents Association who provided refreshments. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.

Fintan O'Sullivan has been in touch to express his appreciation to the school for allowing him to use a school Colours Day for fundraising for his India Immersion Project. Fintan visited all classes in the school and spoke to them about the purpose of his visit.
