Dear parents,

I wish to bring the following to your attention.

Maths Displays: Visitors to the school this week have admired the Maths Displays to be seen throughout the school. As part of our Numeracy strategy, each class has created a visual example of a topic they are studying in class. Adding machines, capacity, fractions, cardinal numbers and bar graphs are just some of the eye-catching displays to be seen. Well done to all involved.

Thanks to Ed Shanahan of Shanahan Hurleys who was guest speaker in Fifth Class last Thursday as part of the Junior Entrepreneur programme.
