Dear parents,

I wish to bring the following to your attention.

The under 13 camogie team  were defeated by Milford NS, having won their first two games. Both teams have qualified for the semi final stage of the City Cumann na mBunscol competitions. Thanks to all the teachers who look after teams year in, year out.

Preparations are well underway for First Holy Communion which takes place on Saturday May 13th at 11a.m.  in Ballybrown Church

Parking:  I would like to thank all parents who avail of the parking area available in the Resource Centre and in the Church grounds. Please keep the Staff parking area and the bus areas free. Please do not obstruct traffic or park in the yellow box at the gate. Safety of children is our only priority.

We are currently enjoying a spell of very fine weather.  Pupils may wear plain navy shorts to school if they wish. No denim, stripes or logos. Please ensure your child's name is on fleeces, cardigans etc. Our Lost Property section has filled up since we returned to school last Monday.

All classes will be on school tour on Thursday June 22nd. All details are on the school website www.ballybrownns.ie.  It would be appreciated if tour monies could be submitted by Wednesday May 31st. Each pupil pays tour money to his/her own class teacher.

The school will operate a Book Rental scheme again this year. This scheme operates from Third to Sixth classes. Workbooks cannot be re used. If you have clean books in good condition with all pages intact, the school will buy them from you.Further details to follow next week.
