Dear parents,
I wish to bring the following to your attention.
Andy Cunningham from Dell visited Mr Barry's Sixth class today as part of the Junior Achievement programme. Andy is Projects Manager with Dell with responsibility for construction and new builds throughout Europe. He will visit the class on five consecutive weeks. The Junior Achievement programme introduces children to the worlds of science and business.
All children from Junior infants to Fourth class enjoyed the first Gymnastics lesson with Gillian from School Fitness Ireland on Monday. Gillian will return for the next three Mondays.
All the children in Fifth and Sixth Classes attended a Retreat in Milford this week in advance of Confirmation. Staff and children found it enjoyable and thought-provoking. The Confirmation classes are working hard at Art Work and music in advance of the big day on February 18th.
Safety of children: Children should never walk through the teachers' car park, even if accompanied by an adult. All classes exit via the gate near the Resource Centre except for children using the school bus service. It would be appreciated if parents did not use the teachers' car park. Please pass on this message to grandparents, minders etc who collect children but do not have access to the school note.
Enrolment for school Year 2020-2021: Parents of children intending to enrol in this school for school year 2020 -2021 are reminded that the closing date for applications in tomorrow January 17th at 3 p.m.

Breska Rovers Underage Registration for the short season will commence on Saturday 18th January 12pm-2pm in the Community resource centre in Ballybrown. Age groups for U6 up to U16. Registration is €30 per child & €50 for 2 or more children for the short season which runs until May/June time. New players always welcomed to join.
